To Install Fixture
Caution: Be sure power is off at the main breaker box prior to installation.
1. Using two machine screws (not provided), fasten the crossbar (A) to the outlet box, making sure the mounting
holes are level.
Note: A new outlet box comes with screws. When replacing a fixture, retain the screws for use
with the new fixture.
2. Start threaded studs (B) into appropriate holes in
crossbar. This fixture may be mounted horizontally
or vertically as desired.
3. Using suitable wire connectors (not provided),
connect fixture wires to supply wires, white to white
and black to black. Connect all ground wires to
crossbar ground screw.
Caution: Make sure wire connectors are twisted on
securely, and that no bare conductors are showing.
4. Place fixture (C) over threaded studs and tighten
firmly to mounting surface using threaded balls (D).
To facilitate final assembly, we recommend
orienting the fixture such that the tapped hole in the
side of the fixture is oriented in the most
accessible direction. Final assembly will
require installation of a screw in this hole.
5. Install light bulbs.
Caution- Risk of Fire. This fixture is designed only for use with halogen bulbs marked “suitable for use in open
luminaries.” We provide and recommend Sylvania brand bulbs. The pictogram shown below indicates that a bulb
is suitable for use in open luminaries. Do not use replacement bulbs that do not display this marking.
